Another 0.3lb Weight Loss And A 2% Drop In Body Fat. Weekly Weigh In – 210.5lb – BMI 26.4
Hurray! Another small step to going sub 210lbs.
Christ it’s taking a while isn’t it? But it’s finally happening after what seems like months of bobbing between 211 and 212lbs.
Last week was excellent for running and reasonable for eating. I had a few Domino Sizzlers and around 6 bottles of Erdinger Weissbier over the weekend. Overall I must have achieved a calorific deficit as both my weight and my body fat are down.
I’m going to use MyFitnessPal.com more this week. Daily calorie counting is definitely the way to go in terms of weight loss.
I’ve been guilty of eating all of my allocated daily calories and then also using up the kcal’s I’ve expended through exercise too. It feels like a bit of a waste and is frustrating. I sometimes start runs thinking ‘what the hell’s the point in running far today if I’m gonna undo all of my work later on?’.
It’s a negative attitude that I’m trying to shake by always ensuring I have a daily deficit of 200 or 300 calories.
Overall a 0.3lb loss over a week might not seem like a lot, but it still means I’m going in the right direction. It’s much easier to micro-manage my weight like this and have a lower expectation over a longer timeframe than to simple let myself go and not weigh myself for a year and realize I’ve put on 25lbs.
Keeping myself accountable on a weekly basis is definitely the way to go!
