Two Day Break From Running And My 4.3 Mile Comeback Run. Complete With Another Migraine Headache.
I hate the onset of migraines.
I’ll be hit by the unmistakeable aura that spreads across my field of vision which makes nothing seem real. I get paranoid that Rudolf Hess will pop out of my sock drawer and give me hell for being a cross eyed liberal.
This particular headache was a lingerer. It wasn’t agony, but it was there and it remained for two hours. I tried putting a cold can of Coke against my head but it didn’t help whatsoever.
What brought on the migraine was my 4.3 mile run in the sun. It was a lovely jog and I didn’t struggle much whatsoever.
Until I got back home and the migraine struck. It’s gone now thankfully. Several Aero Mousses, a Fruit Pastilles Lolly and some Pringles cured what ailed me.
The last few days have been a bit of a blur to be honest. Too much eating and drinking. I’ve delayed my weekly weigh in until Monday morning as I wouldn’t get an accurate reading now considering how bloated I feel.
I’m currently on a 15.5 mile week. No hope of a 40 miler this week so I’ll try to make it over 30 and see how much further I can go past that. Closing in on 1,000 for 2012 too.

My running form has been shit of late. I’ve been scared to go out as I haven’t been jogging well. When I’m not running well I don’t want to go out. It’s a vicious cycle and a hard one to break out of.
Smashing 1,000 miles for 2012 by Sunday should hopefully give me a boost. Here’s hoping anyway.
