    Nice reading as always. It is quite funny to realize how we are all the same no matter where we live, and who we are.
    I have the same “violent urges for food at night” ….. and for wine/booze for what it matters. The only one trick that works with me is to have ZERO food in the fridge 🙂
    Well, sort of.
    I have my fridge full of food that needs to be cooked …. like vegetables, raw meat, fish, fruit.
    I had to quit buying cheese, cold cuts (not sure about the English word here, salami and ham for examle), cookies, bred and anything that could be eaten out of the fridge.

    I can fully understand where youre coming from. No matter what level of runner you are, it happens. I am a freshman at Penn State on the varsity XC/Track team, and after a long day of classes and training, what sounds good once you get back to the dorms after a stressful day? It doesn’t help that your roommate has terrible food (cookies,cupcakes,poptarts, and other sweets) because he isn’t a runner. Then I put on the weight and then have to half starve myself to lose the weight. After being so hungry from trying to cut the binge weight, I end up saying fuck it.. so into the food trance stage and will pound out easily 1000 cal in 15 mins. Then the cycle continues… and running becomes less fun because you aren’t going anywhere with fitness
