Running Is Suddenly Difficult Again After My Runners Knee Problems
Yesterday I ran, today I did not.
I wanted to get out for two runs today but my knee started playing up when I went downstairs for breakfast.
Unfortunately my knee is still quite painful tonight especially when walking up stairs.
I am not gonna be stupid about this and run injured. It’s a sure way to put myself out of action for weeks and that would be shit.
I ran 6.3 miles yesterday and it was a struggle. Last week running was easy, now it’s a strain.
32.27 miles for the week. I’m a bit disappointed.
Normally if I have a bad run I’d go straight back out again and attempt to erase it’s memory from my mind. The longer you let a bad run live on in your memory, the harder it is to get rid of it.
I’ll just have to rest for a while and hope to God that it gets better and soon.
In the meantime all that I can do is try to rest up, eat a little better and pray that it sorts itself out soon.
