No Weight Lost Or Gained This Week. 210.5lb – BMI 26.4.
210.5lb I am today. This means that I haven’t lost any weight this week. Nor have I gained any. I always knew it was gonna be a ‘maintenance if I’m lucky’ kinda week. I was out celebrating being offered a new job and I only ran 32 miles.
I’ve been trying to make changes little by little in my diet. Pot Noodle regulation has been a key part of this initiative. Last week I had 12 Pot Noodle’s which was down from the week before when I had 16 of them.
Commending my self control this morning with a cheeky Pot Noodle for Breakfast.
Today wasn’t a bad day. I started off with a Pot Noodle, went on a 6.2 mile run and then was forced into a walk around town whilst some strange man fitted some blinds on my bedroom window.
I really hated the run. I didn’t feel ready for it and was close to turning back after 0.o5 miles.
I can easily spot when I’ll have a bad run by how I feel at the beginning. If I’m hyperactive then I know I’ll be alright. If I’m struggling to stand, then I’m in for some bother. I was heading back home at around a 10:23 min/mile pace but sped up towards the end and finished at 10:19 min/mile.
I was wearing my Great Scottish Run technical t-shirt for the first time too as my race pack came today. Only 13 days now! Excited!
As for the walk, I was hoping for a nice hour long stroll in the sun, so I bought myself a selection of mini cheese wheels from the local store. Unfortunately I got caught in a pretty heavy shower and my cheese got soggy and fucking disgusting so I had to throw it away.
The rain did not want to stop, so I thought “fuck it” and sought refuge in a bar, ordered a large cider behind dripping glasses and clothes and sat down and read the newspaper for half an hour. The sun came out and I walked home and felt much better.
