May Is Over – I Failed To Hit My Run 150 Miles In A Month Target..
In May 2012 I went on 23 runs, lasting 148.54 miles, 26 hours and burning 22,724 calories in the process.
I’m very happy with the stats as I took an entire week off running between the 20th and 27th May.
Marathon week was my best week of running since I started. I hit 62.5 miles/100.1km which I never thought would’ve been possible for me.
The disappointing thing is that I’ve continued to gain weight due to my awful eating habits.
That is why from tomorrow I am joining Weight Watchers Online and following it precisely for the entire month of June.
Once my weight drops, then so will my times and the amount of exertion I have to put into each run.
Rounded off the month with an easy 10k. Resting now for the start of Juneathon tomorrow!
