Lost 0.1lb In A Week But Gained 1% In Body Fat.
I had nightmares about standing on my Withings scales this morning. It’s not that I ate terribly yesterday, I’ve ate like shit all week.
This week I’ve lost 0.1lb and gained 1% in body fat. My weight loss attempts at the minute are mimicking the UK economy well, slow/no progress marked with wild decline in key areas.
I’m hoping that the body fat increase is just the hot dog pizza from yesterday’s dinner.
Positives from this weigh-in? Well I haven’t died of a stroke or a heart attack. My runner’s knee has cleared up too.
I’ve been doing the necessary online calculations and my body fat is quite similar to low fat Hvarti. Comparing my body composition favourably to a cheese may well be a key indicator of why I’m not doing great with this.
But fuck it. I’m not giving up. I’ll do what I can this week to keep losing weight.
No more Snickers for breakfast.
I’ve entered the Longest Day Run contest tomorrow. You have to run as far as you can between 12 noon Saturday and 12 noon Sunday. Sounds like fun. Hopefully the weather clears up a little for it.
