Last Week Was A Bad Week For Running. It Could Have Been Worse Though..
After managing 49 miles the week previous, last week I ran just under 26 with a long run of 10 miles.
On Saturday I had the worst run of my life after running hungover. I ran 3.1 miles but it seems like 33.1 miles.
Not exactly ideal preparation for a marathon, eh?
I’m trying not to lose perspective. Up until this point I’ve been reasonably consistent with running. These are my weekly totals since the start of the year.
I’m aiming for over 50 miles this week to try to keep on target for 200 for the month. It should be easier now that I am unemployed.
I’ve got the Edinburgh Rock N Roll Half Marathon on Sunday and I’m definitely going to take Saturday off running before that.
Trying to keep my chin up at the minute. It would seem I have lost my way with things a little.
