Larne Half Marathon 2012 Preparation And My Day Before Diet……….. Pop Tarts!!!
Struggled to get up again this morning for my 6.2 mile run, so I put the snooze on for 10 minutes until 6:10am, went downstairs for a Coke Zero and decided to head out at 6:40am.
This worked out well as by 6:30am I was chomping at the bit to get outside. Not as pretty as yesterday, in fact it was all misty and drizzly but other than that it was good.
There was nothing memorable about the run whatsoever, which is a good thing as it means I was totally on autopilot.
Back to tonight!
I’m preparing for the Larne Half Marathon tomorrow afternoon with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and several (or more) Strawberry Pop Tarts.
I also went for a net of Babybel at the garage. 2nd net of the day.
I will not be going for the hat-trick.
Looking forward to the run tomorrow, just gonna treat it as a leisurely 10 mile run with a 5k pegged onto the end of it. Still contemplating the Omagh Half Marathon next week but I really need to start running further than 13 miles.

Update on Saturday Morning 7:39am
They were ate so they were.
Been up since 4am playing Fifa 11 whilst eating Pop Tarts, swearing and drinking the Monster Khaos. My heart is racing.
6 Pop Tarts in little under 50 minutes.
This might not have been a good idea. Fuck it, no turning back now.
Might as well finish off the rest of the Monster Khaos.
