How To Stop Feeling Bad About Weight You’ve Gained. Do Something About Your Weight Problem Today!
As humans we’re programmed to feel bad about weight we may have gained recently.
If you’ve recently weighed yourself and found that you’ve gained 10, 20, 50 or even 100lbs then the only way to react is to accept that the weight you’ve gained has came about by your own decisions in the past.
You can search for excuses or scapegoats but ultimately the buck stops with you.
Once you’ve accepted that your weight is your responsibility, you can start to lose weight. Don’t make any grand plans to diet or lose the pounds. Start small and make a pledge to weigh yourself a certain amount of times a month and begin to make small amendments to your diet and add in a little bit of exercise if possible.
The worst thing you can do is to think “what the hell is the point in dieting if I’m so overweight? I’m too far gone!”.
When you think like this, you’re effectively giving up on life. Losing weight tomorrow will be harder than losing weight today if you start small and keep taking steps towards where you want to be.
Denial contributed so much to my own weight gain throughout the years of 2008-10 and it’s a wonder that I didn’t become morbidly obese in the end. Sooner or later you’ll have to come to terms with your body and there is no better time than the present..
Whether you acknowledge it or not, your body is the way it is at the moment and no amount of hiding from that fact will change your reality.
So don’t feel bad about gaining weight and start today to reverse the rot.
Start on a positive note and you won’t fail.
It’s all about facing down the scale for that first time. It’s fucking terrifying and it might not be pretty. But you’ll never change your life if you don’t change now.
Stop with the excuses and make this the year where you kick fucking ass!
