Gained Weight Again This Week But My Body Fat Percentage Is Down To 21.5%. And Another 5 Mile Run.
Another weigh in on my Withings scales and another gain. Hahahaha. Whoops. Interesting enough my body fat is down by 2% this week which is at least something worth celebrating? Now I have the same body composition as a lovely bit of Edam.
It’s my fault for spending all of last night getting wankered on cheddar cheese and Monster Munch. When I can’t sleep I get wild yearnings for the cheese. I cannot contain it. It possesses me. I think I’m doomed to be the only motherfucker who runs 40 miles consistently per week and still gains weight.
Miserable weather again here today, but perfect for running.
Did 5.2 miles there when I was only meaning to run a 5k. Pleased with it all and all. Running is getting easier again. Feeling stronger over the course of the run but I’m still lacking in any speed whatsoever.
No real sleep last night either. Maybe an hour max. Woke feeling like hell and ready just to call today off as a null day. That’s when the idea of running a 5k came to me. And then when I got to 5k I thought ‘ah fuck, why not go on and do 5 miles’.
Tomorrow is the last day of Juneathon and I’m still on for a 150 mile month. Currently at 139.5. Just need to do 2 mid distance runs. One in the morning and then another in the afternoon.
