Blog Review – Running Dan!
Tonight we have another Indiegogo blog review. I’m sorry it’s taken so long Dan. I’m a bit of a shambles of a man. I only do what I can. Help.
Running Dan is the blog of Dan Houghton a runner from England who like me struggled with the idea of calling himself that for quite some time. He finally stopped calling himself a jogger after his first half marathon, 4 years ago. I still don’t really consider myself a runner unless I’m being chased by pit bulls along the River Lea Navigation so admire his self confidence.
He does loads of parkruns and cross country races across the London area. His blog is quite handy for me as I want to race locally as it’s far too fucking expensive to be going to Europe every few months and there are loads of races. I’m especially interested in the Richmond Park Marathon as long as the course doesn’t go anywhere near those militant bastard deer.
He first had the idea of running a marathon in 2002 and it took him 7 years to finally realise his dream. Definitely better late than never. He had his breakthrough in the Richmond Park Marathon where he ran a personal best of 4:24. I don’t know if this was deer assisted or not. Whatever the fuck that was meant to mean? Am I suggesting he was being chased by deer? Or that he cheated on the last mile on deer-back? How much do you weigh Dan?
He is also skilled in karate so I’m now very worried that he’s going to come up to Tottenham and kick my head in for this shitty review.
I’m sorry Dan for sending the wrong postage on your thank you letter. I didn’t know the difference between Large Letters and normal first class mail. I did the same to all of the UK letters and I’m sending them all out again. Some people got them and paid the excess postage, but fuck it. I’m sending them out just to spite the system.
Dan, you need to update your blog more often.
