Being Fat Ruins Your Life? Then Either Change Your Life Or Accept That Your Life Is Ruined.
If you’re miserable about being fat, then you’ll continue to feel the same way until you reach breaking point.
You might feel powerless over your situation and blame others for the rut you find yourself in, but ultimately you’ll have to accept that you’re responsible for what you put in your body and how much you move.
When I was obese I’d be in denial about my weight. I just didn’t want to think about it or address it.
It went on that way until I was half way between clinical obesity and morbid obesity. I spent a year indoors doing fuck all but hiding from people.
One year of my life wasted.
You only get so much time in life, so why waste what you have left by feeling down on yourself?
You have the power to change yourself today and it’s easier than you think. You don’t have to go on a drastic starvation diet. Instead, practice moderation in your portions, record everything you eat in a food journal like MyFitnessPal and exercise a little more.
I bought the Fitbit Ultra pedometer a while back and it monitors how much I move each day and acts as a great motivational tool to burn whatever fat I can throughout the day.
Permanent weight loss is about a lifestyle change. You cannot go back to your old ways otherwise you’ll go back to your old weight.
That’s why the change has to be gradual and sustainable. I started out with some light jogging and have progressed up to marathon distance and that’s now my lifestyle.
You don’t have to run marathons or even jog to change your life and weight forever. It can be cycling, weight lifting, football, Tennis. Or indeed anything physical that you enjoy.
Being fat doesn’t have to ruin your life. You can change yourself now forever by just doing little things like eating one less burger a week or walking one mile further a day. It all counts.
