7.4 Mile Run In 76 Minutes. Takes Me Up To 50 Miles This Week. Out Of Weight Watchers ProPoints Altogether Again…
I was feeling really damn negative this morning.
I tried eating Cadbury’s Mini Rolls to kickstart my heart but they just made me feel even more depressed.
My failure with Weight Watchers last night has been preying on mind.
Things got worse when I found a half eaten box of Caxton Pink N White Wafers in my fucking bed this morning.
I’m like a badger. Hunt by night for prey all ravenous and leave a trail of crumbs everywhere.
With all of this in mind I set out to just run for as long as possible and managed 7.4 miles in 76 minutes. I get a measly 7 Weight Watchers activity points for this.
This can’t be right. According to my Garmin Forerunner I burnt 1,100 calories. 7 Weight Watchers ProPoints = about 280 calories. That’s a hell of a difference there.
If I were to run 50 miles next mile I’d gain roughly 85 activity points which is about 3360 calories. In reality I’d be burning closer to 7500 calories. Something doesn’t seem right there whatsoever.
Despite my struggles with Weight Watchers, this has been a great week for running. 9 runs in 7 days for a total of 50 miles. 3rd best week since I started running.
My goal for next week is to run about the same distance and to try come to terms with Weight Watchers. I will not let it beat me, that’s for certain!
