I’ve followed your blog for a long time and read your book but I don’t think I’ve ever commented. I just want to say Well Done on quitting the poison. You’re amazing

Keep doing what you’re doing. Running saved my sanity. It lifts me out of this pit of depression and I think I’m cured and stop running. What happens? I spiral back down. Keep fighting and stay angry!! Your blog is the only inspiring running thing I read that gets to the blood and guts. Keep running and writing.

This is great. I’m glad to have found you.
I am nearly 5mths sober and starting to question why i’m doing this. I’ve moved interstate since not drinking and now I’m trying to make new friends in a city where I know nobody. It’s terrible trying to do this sober.
I’m also desperately missing the dinners on Sat night where my husband and i (no kids) shared a bottle of wine. I never go out anymore. What’s the point.
All up I’m wondering why I’m doing this.

    Does it get easier??
